At LastManWorks, your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you play One Square at a time (“the App”).

1. Information We Collect

The App stores game data locally on your device, including:

  • Game progress (level, run state, scores/steps)

  • Continues, freeze charges, and related gameplay settings

  • Achievements unlocked in the App

  • App preferences (such as accessibility symbols and sound settings)

This data is stored using Apple frameworks (SwiftData and local device storage). We do not operate our own servers and do not receive this local game data.

Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Apple’s GameKit framework may provide us with information such as your Game Center player identifier and display name. We use this only to support Game Center features in the App, including leaderboards and achievements.

In-App Purchases

If you buy a Continue Pack or other in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card or billing details. Apple may provide us with purchase-related information needed to deliver the purchased content (for example, confirmation that a purchase was completed).

We do not use in-app purchase data for advertising.

Information we do not collect

We do not:

  • Operate user accounts on our own servers

  • Collect your email address or contact details through the App itself

  • Serve advertisements

  • Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs

  • Sell your personal information

2. How We Use Your Information

Gameplay and app functionality

Local game data is used to save your progress, continues, settings, and gameplay experience on your device.

Game Center

Game Center information is used only to display leaderboards, report achievements, and show your Game Center display name within Game Center-related features.

In-App Purchases

Purchase information is used only to deliver the content you bought (for example, granting continues after a successful purchase).

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses Apple services, including:

  • GameKit / Game Center — leaderboards and achievements

  • StoreKit — in-app purchases

  • SwiftData / on-device storage — local game data

These services are provided by Apple and are subject to Apple’s privacy practices. For more information, see Apple’s Privacy Policy.

We do not share your information with other third parties for marketing or advertising.

4. Data Retention

Local game data remains on your device until you delete it by uninstalling the App or resetting app data on your device.

Game Center and purchase data are handled according to Apple’s policies and your Apple ID settings.

5. Data Security

You may review or delete your locally stored game data at any time by uninstalling the app. If you have any questions or requests regarding your data, please contact us at contact@lastmanworks.com.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

You may:

  • Delete local game data by uninstalling the App

  • Manage Game Center participation through your device and Apple ID settings

  • Manage in-app purchases and purchase history through your Apple ID / App Store settings

7. Children Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website, and the “Last updated” date will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
